THE BLUES: Comprised of five lifelong musician friends, The Sons of Providence first played together in legendary RI band The Spotfinders with late great guitarist Thom Enright. In the intervening decades, Chris Vachon (Roomful of Blues), Marty Ballou (Peter Wolf, John Hammond), Larr Anderson (Dennis McCarthy, Thom Enright) and Dickie Reed (Duke Robillard, Mark Cutler). Now, whenever all four are off the road long enough, they team-up with Blues chanteuse D.D. Bastos to play a few select gigs in and around their beloved capitol city.
