Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of The Texas Campfire Tapes an opening set by DC duo TBA, followed by a solo performance of songs from The Texas Campfire Tapes, then an ensemble preview from the current work in progress, Indelible Women. The second half is led by audience requests for narratives drawn from Michelle’s oeuvre, (songs that make good ‘campfire stories,’ as well as a dialogue about the history of the Texas Campfire Tapes.) A brief segment to follow will focus on advocacy of arts education in public schools and for the finale, a ensemble presentation of a few short, sharp audience favorites.
