Chris Hillman and Herb Pedersen

Ex-Byrd, and member of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame, Chris Hillman is considered by many as a founder of country rock. Although best known as a Byrd, his stint with the group was just a small stop in a fantastic musical career that also included the Flying Burrito Brothers.

Tim O’Brien

It’s been awhile since Grammy Award winning Tim O’Brien has played the Narrows, though he’s graced our stage a bunch of times! You might call what he plays bluegrass, or maybe folk, or, at times, even Celtic. No matter. It’s top notch musical creativity from one of the nicest guys ever to perform on our stage.

Watermelon Slim and the Workers

He got a record-tying six Blues Music Award nominations back in 2006. Andy Whitman, writing for Paste Magazine, says ‘…Watermelon Slim is one Delta Mack Daddy, the most exciting and authentic blues performer I’ve heard in years.’

King Wilkie

These young guys originally won acclaim for playing bluegrass, but now they’ve extended their sound into folk and country rock.
