This free event will take place at the Gates of the City on Water St. around the corner from the Narrows. Duke’s latest CD, A Swingin’ Session with Duke Robillard focuses on the ‘swing’ side of Duke’s playing, and includes classics like ‘Deed I Do,’ ‘The Song Is Ended,’ ‘Them That Got,’ and ‘When Your Lover Has Gone.’ Duke is currently nominated by the Blues Music Awards for Best Blues Guitarist, an award he has won 4 times previously. He is a regional and national treasure.
