The band has been actively recording in their own studio for the past year, experimenting with new sounds and approaches, different from anything they’ve done before. What is coming out of these secluded sessions is guitar-driven rock that Cheap Trick and the Rolling Stones would approve of and other songs that have more of an introspective approach and sonically lie more with Bon Iver and Mute Math. An eclectic record to say the least, but one that still is anchored in strong melodies, creative arrangements and big choruses, but with interesting turns.
