Find the Perfect Gift at our Poster Exhibition!

The highly anticipated 4th Annual Narrows Poster Exhibition has been installed and it’s just in time for the holidays! This year’s gallery showcases six talented artists from five different studios, including screen-printers, designers and illustrators, all with their own unique style and creative process.

Whether you need a gift for a music fan or an art lover, or are looking to decorate your own walls with a splash of color, look no further. The exhibition displays 100 affordable, gig posters and fine art posters that are collectable and easy-to-frame. They are priced between $25-$50 each.

Musicians featured in the gig collection include The Avett Brothers, Dave Matthews Band, Counting Crows, B.B. King, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Willie Nelson, Carolina Chocolate Drops, Bob Dylan, Billy Joel, My Morning Jacket, 311, The Postal Service, Devo, Local Natives and many more. There’s a poster for every genre of music!

DKNG, founded by Dan Kuhlken and Nathan Goldman, combines music, film and design to create a personal aesthetic that turns simple shapes into extraordinary images that involve up to 6-color screen prints.

James Flames, an illustrator and screen-printer from North Carolina, has created work for top touring bands with a detailed style that is reminiscent of colorful children’s book illustrations.

Gary Houston from Portland, Oregon has a distinctive style that he describes as scratchboard artwork, which became the face of Portland’s Waterfront Blues Festival in 2001.

Mike King is an artist who started his career making posters for punk bands in exchange for admission to their shows, who has since designed over 4,000 intricate posters, with clever layouts and an old-school vibe.

Jason Munn uses bold colors and geometric objects including records, microphones, envelopes, and images of nature and culture, which create continuity in his artwork through strong, minimalist design.
