Listen to Your ART is a program for ART exploration, envisioned by Wendy Garf-Lipp, Executive Director of the United Neighbors of Fall River, brought to you in collaboration with the Narrows Center for the Arts. This is the second year this project has invited young artists to learn new techniques and share their ideas in color! Our focus this year was diversity and individual preferences. The final project, inspired by a variety of activists who use Art to express an idea, was a challenge some of our Artists met with compelling results.

Fifteen Artists from Henry Lord Community, Samuel Watson Elementary, John J. Doran Elementary, Edmond P. Talbot Middle, Alfred S. Letourneau, and James Tansey Elementary Schools were invited to find their voice by exploring Art each week, using an Art kit filled with materials and possibilities. These students accepted the mission each week, created unique pieces, transforming their ideas and vision into Art, as local artist, Marianne Le Guyader guided and encouraged them to Listen to Your ART.
